Job Description:
The intern is to physically show up on bakery site and learn bakery operations including baking, decorating, cleaning, documentation and other ancillary bakery activities that will improve soft and life skills. This internship is designed on a 2-weekly basis (10 consecutive working days). Meaning the full curriculum is designed on a 2-week ascension plan until mastery is attained at the end of 24 weeks.
Each 2-week curriculum is stand-alone and the intern can choose not to complete the entire 24 weeks, but must complete the 2-week cycle for each curriculum.
The intern must be interested in learning and acquiring the skill necessary for baking and decorating. Will work under the supervision of trained professional bakers and decorators; The individual intern must be organized, thorough and be ready to work under pressure. If successfully completed, the intern is awarded a Certificate of Completion at the end of each 2-weeks.
Billing:
It is recommended that the intern complete at least 4-weeks of internship (two 10 consecutive working days) in order to have the basic minimum of roundedness in baking and decorating skills. A comprehensive curriculum will the attached to the intern upon payment in order to track progress made in skill acquisition.
